We have two newly-built holiday lodges to let, at our croft just outside Tobermory. Each lodge is fully equipped, comfortably furnished and fully heated. Each has one double bedroom, a bedroom with bunk beds, and a bed settee in the sitting room, so each lodge can sleep 6. The lodges are called Eas (Gaelic for waterfall) and Fors (Norse for waterfall).
The chalets are nestled below a natural rock formation which makes them secluded and peaceful.
Nearby, but fenced off from the chalets, is a small waterfall which gives the lodges their names.
The view to the front of the chalets, see the panorama above, is awe-inspiring, looking over Calve Island and the Sound of Mull into the mouth of Loch Sunart.
The Island of Mull is one of the best hot-spots for wildlife watching: eagles soar, otters splash and red deer are a common sight. The waters around Mull are a haven for dolphins, porpoises, seals and minke whales. Local boats provide first class tours.
The pretty village of Dervaig is about seven miles away and just a few miles further on lie the famous white sands of Calgary Bay. At the south end of Mull is the Isle of Iona, reached by a short ferry trip. There you will find the historic Abbey.
